Yahoo vent frustration over the App Store process

Yahoo, seems to be a bit miffed, that the Apple Store App reviewers are still sitting on an update to Yahoo Messenger for iPhone applications.

in a post entitled “And therefore we expect from Apple …”, in Yahoo Sarah Bacon Apple calls the” somewhat unpredictable process for obtaining Apps approved and released on the App Store. Yahoo said it presented an update to Yahoo Messenger app (iTunes link) a couple of weeks ago, but has nothing to show it.

Now, as the App Store approval delays or refusals to take two weeks of nothing. Yahoo could simply ask for Sling Media, as she felt about a month, during the delay in the approval process in the SlingPlayer Mobile, or a competitor of Google to renounce Google Voice from the App Store. But Yahoo decision to publicly challenge Apple is interesting, given the possible thawing of relations between developers and iPhone Apple Apple following a senior vice president of marketing Phil Schiller in connection with the bloggers and developers.

“Everyone would like to argue that the application Facebook, which was submitted after this gets approved the first place?” Bacon asked. No action, Yahoo, especially now.

UPDATED 4:30 PM PDT - Yahoo has already removed the post in question, but according to Lucas mast Yahoo Mobile public relations, plans to update it later today. Perhaps Bacon, who works for the Yahoo Messenger team is not all the facts relating to the submission of Yahoo Messenger Update Apple, which is using the mobile group.

Yahoo really provide an updated Apple two weeks ago, but pulled to update a week ago “to make a few additional bug fixes / updates” Mast said. “This process resets the time of the approval process, which we knew.”

Yahoo Apple plans to adopt in the near future to upgrade, but only less than a week after hours was restarted for the update. “We were pleased with the approval process and Apple respond and look forward to continuing as presented to us to mobilize Yahoo,” Mast said.

Sorry.
