Tour Sprint BlackBerry is also coming July 12
Well, well, looky here. Only a day after Verizon Wireless announced the availability date of July 12 for RIM BlackBerry 9630 Tour, Sprint responded and said he too will begin selling its version of the BlackBerry Tour July 12 for $ 199.99 with a two-year contract and $ 100 mail in rebate. How is that for some friendly competition?
Sprint models will also offer world-roaming capabilities with voice coverage in 185 countries and e-mail and browse the web in almost 150 countries. The carrier also touted the easy access to social network sites such as Flickr, MySpace and Facebook.
Other features of the phone include 480×360 pixel resolution display, integrated GPS, Bluetooth, 256MB internal memory and MicroSD expansion slot. We are still waiting to hear from Sprint that will offer a version without the camera, as Verizon will be.
