Samsung Rogue makes us swoon

While touch-screen phone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard is nothing new, every once in awhile we find one that really knocks it out of the park. Samsung Rogue is one such example, and it is there with Samsung impression and env LG Touch.

He has a fantastic design with a stunning 3.1-inch AMOLED touch-screen display, spacious, four lines of QWERTY-keyboard that is easy to use, 3.5-mm headset jack, memory card slot MicroSD, which can take up to 16GB card, and 3-megapixel camera with LED flash.

We were particularly impressed with a full HTML browser supports Flash Lite, so we can watch streaming video from YouTube and from our own CNETTV. Other great features include a threaded messaging, EV-DO Rev A, stereo Bluetooth, and access to V Cast broadband services like V Cast Video and V CAST Music. This overall excellent multimedia messaging phone from Verizon Wireless. Rogue is available now for $ 99.99 with a two-year contract and almost $ 100 discount.

Is Verizon’s LG Chocolate Touch?

Engadget Mobile got this leaked photo of what looks like the LG Chocolate Touch for Verizon, and will not know yet, it does not look at all like LG BL40, that the Europeans are beginning this fall. No giant 4-inch screen, 21:9 aspect ratio, exactly. Which makes us wonder if this is indeed the LG Chocolate Touch, or if any other phone LG.

But since we are accustomed to not getting enough of the European model, we would not be surprised if it really Chocolate Touch, that we waited. Seeing as the holiday season comes up, we probably know that soon enough LG Chocolate VX8575 Touch really looks like.

Verizon BlackBerry Storm price drops to $ 50; BlackBerry Storm 2 imminent?

Verizon Wireless offers a buy one, get one free deal on your choice of BlackBerry and lowered the price on the RIM BlackBerry Storm even further to $ 49.99 (with a two-year contract and an instant discount).

This is the second fall in prices of Storm (the first was from $ 199.99 to $ 149.99), which led many to believe that the carrier is a clearing inventory to make room for the RIM BlackBerry Storm 2. Although RIM has confirmed only that it is working on a device, he could not comment on a release date, pricing, or final specification.

According to rumors, however, that the touch screen smartphone will be released in October and just last week published a few screenshots PhoneArena.com Storm 2, listed in the inventory system Verizon’s. As for features, the most noticeable improvements are the addition of Wi-Fi and modernized SurePress technologies.

Although it looks like we’re at least a month to learn about the real deal, we are interested in how many of you are considering BlackBerry Storm 2 as the future of the device or what would persuade you to buy. CNET blogger Don Reisinger Posted BlackBerry Storm 2 Wish list several months ago that in your list?

Verizon storm blowing for $ 49.99 - You know what that means

Forgive the pun, but we got a perfect storm here: The Storm 2, of course, right around the corner, the Christmas shopping season is steps away, and Verizon, perhaps, sitting on a pile of fat stagnation Storm inventory is to go. As the largest carrier in North America do? Leave the original prices through the floor, of course, that means you can now pick up for the scarce 9530 $ 49.99 for a two year contract after discounts. If you remember, he went for $ 199.99 at the start, so this is a worthy cause (for Verizon, in any case - it was easy to get a free Storm through third parties for a while now), so I just did not Freak Out at us when replacement hits every month, right?
