T-Pain’s Auto-Tune iPhone App: You can do all this for yourse-el-el-el-Elf

After several months of waiting, the singing robot T-Pain, finally unleashed his secret weapon: iPhone application that allows users to make their voices sound tone deaf … how crappy. But digitized! IPhone application called I Am T-Pain, and may be at the end of music as we know it.

While T-Pain is not the first artist to use the tuner, this is the easiest and cheapest way to get popular vocoder software that disguises and corrects improper move, distorting the human voice.

$ 2,99 App is a portable version of the tool, which includes the instrumental collection of T-Pain’s Greatest Hits, in addition to the “Freestyle” mode to cover their own songs. You can also record yourself singing and easy to download songs from different social networks.

I installed the application on my iPhone and it works pretty well, but instead “buy you a Drank (Shawty Snappin ‘)” I went on an eternal Cher hit “I Believe” on today’s episode 404 Podcast. Check it and let me know if I have a future in the music recording industry.

Nokia N97 get 1.1 firmware on 1 July

There is no shortage complaints - some minor, some not so small - about the shipping firmware of N97s, which is already in this area (our wobbly lights immediately comes to mind), but fortunately, it seems that Nokia is looking to address the issues, perhaps more active than it ever did. Nokia Conversations official twitter account has announced that the first option in the N97 (which we will take in mind the North American version, because the United States, he was the first) will be blessed with the firmware 1.1 with effect from 1 July, which hopefully will be available through the most air, without any software updates Nokia stupidity. No word on what will be changed in the new version, but honestly, if we simply get LL Cool J startup screen that will be good enough for us.

Well, I do not know, did you - have a DirecTV iPhone application. In more than cats DBSTalk honored toying with him, and they even collected an excellent PDF with setup instructions and pictures show the search, registration and maps to show the functionality. For fans of iPhone with DirecTV, there is absolutely no reason not to check it. Unfortunately, we are no closer to find out when it is available, but we are just relieved to know she will be here somewhere.

Palm issues takedown for TealOS

If you are a fan of TealOS (you know, that is bright webOS-aping launcher for Palm devices), you’re in for some bad news. For positions in the company TealTalk support forum, and the representative said that users of Palm issued a takedown of the lookalike. According to them:

I am sorry that at the request of Palm, as this coming Monday, 30 March, we will no longer sell or distribute TealOS.

While we can certainly understand the motivation on the part behind the Palm wants to derail the blind, we feel a little strange. When we met with the Palm representation prior to earlier this month, he actually had the software installed on your phone and seemed very excited about its existence. Our money is actually in the Palm of the department being a little short-tempered, but we hardly think TealOS it poses a threat to the company’s bottom line. The bottom line? Imitation is a sincere form of flattery.

Windows Mobile 7 screenshots (or model or something) leaking?

In the past few days have witnessed the alleged diversion of a couple of parties Windows Mobile 7 screenshots, Microsoft has offered to work on a successor to the 6.5 - what we heard in the past, and given the state of 6.x, they say that it is not difficult believe. To talk about the leaks look superficially at least one under-invoicing, first of all, none of them do not coincide with the various elements of stacking is applied to each subject. The best case, we figure these models - not functioning shots from the actual device or emulator, but early on, impromptu stabs in the development of language with the convenience of the expert late night session Illustrator something deep inside Redmond. We are as certain that we can see - there is definitely at least some elements that look carefully here today - but if there are any real grounds for them, we are concerned about the inappropriate idea of putting the battery strength and the volume (or tone, in Depending on the shot) at the bottom of the screen. Needless to say, that there was a very good reason for this kind of information has become consolidated to the top, not the least of which is that your fingers are not transparent. At least, not ours, but if you are, perhaps, you should get that looked at.
