The work has been concerned about the loss of key Apple employees and Palm said:” We must do everything our power to stop it, “reported Bloomberg.

“Your suggestion that we agree that neither company will hire other employees, regardless of the wishes of the individual, not only wrong, it is probably unlawful,” Colligan said Dzhobs, according to reports seen Bloomberg.

Several senior figures at the time worked in the Palm Apple. In the two months prior to the beginning of August 2007, the message given by Bloomberg, Palm announced that former Apple CFO Fred Anderson to join the Board of Directors, and John Rubinstein, who retired as head of Apple’s IPod division in 2005, will join as executive chairman of the board.

In June this year, Palm Rubinstein, called him as CEO, replacing Colligan.

iPhone dominates VC support mobile applications

Sixty-seven per cent in 2009, venture capital support for mobile applications are beginning to develop their app to work on multiple platforms - namely, at the beginning of the six mobile operating systems: iPhone, Palm, RIM, Android, Symbian and Windows, according to new data from research firm chubby Brain, 67.

Of the 33 per cent, which is a platform to develop specific applications to develop for iPhone dominates all other platforms with a little less than half of all investment dollars. This makes sense for several reasons, primarily the fact that the App Store is the most simple and clear path to profits said applications.

Interestingly, the data that developers are actively supports six different platforms and for different reasons. For example, the need to support Symbian to reach a wider group of users, and you should try to reach an Android support what could become the next big swath of mobile devices. However, management development efforts for all these platforms will eventually become a major headache.

I suspect that we will see in the future move to support devices in the Apple iPhone, Research In Motion of BlackBerry, as well as the company’s Google Android operating system, over time, as the smartphone functionality is becoming more important globally.

Use your Palm and the iPhone in the pre-soul

Those who became too intimate, and even fall in love with his favorite gadgets are in need of assistance.

You know who you are. You clutch your iPhone, as you sit at the bar. You turn your Palm into a pre-palms, as if he had a stress reliever. You may wish you to use the gadget in your soul, just for safety.

Fortunately, some sensitive soul of a company called “Two eggplant came with an ingenious way to communicate with the digital life, how do you clean-up day. For just $ 7.99, you can be the proud owner of a soap that looks exactly like Palm Pre ( pictured), or iPhone.

You can put this beautiful facility on the right side of the head, and use it to reduce your earwax residue. You can take a shower-safe pre-Palm and feel it slipping through your heart and lungs, a fantasy you have, no doubt, always cherished.

And, since we are in a sniffing of inanimate objects, on the occasion, you will be pleased to know that you can put two eggplants Palm Pre the nose and open for a lasting aroma of truffles, chocolate, or even your own custom flavor.

Which, of course, leads to ask why the Palm and Apple do not add flavorings to the electrically charged originals.

I know that the only mention of this work, pure ingenuity, many of you will rush to their favorite car in the soap version. Please, however, make sure you never mix the two after a heavy night of entertainment. I would hate for any of you tried to talk in a bar of soap in the office.

Dear Palm: Please stop tracking me and my pre-use

Tell us you’re not doing that, Palm? Indeed, we have been friends for over ten years. I defended you when you were a bad idea, and praised you when you have good ideas. But this time even I have to give a well-earned “What …?” I want to say that you should know that modern technical users value their privacy, for almost nothing, and yet it looks like you do it?

It seems that every day you send a message from the President of the people without their knowledge. Why? And why would you include it, which applications are installed and, most frightening of all, their co-ordinates GPS? Why would you want to know exactly where your customers on a daily basis?

You made a great product with a pre-, Palm. Please disable this function. This is the spot for the company that is known by the experience of users. If you can not disable it, you could at least change the privacy policy, that if you are a user pre you spied on? Of course, it is said that you will gather information to users when they use location-based app - as, for example, Google Maps, - but he has not told you this when you feel like it. I hurt.

Honesty is best policy, and honesty should be in politics.

UPDATE: Palm has sent me the following statement:

Palm takes privacy very seriously, and offers ways to turn data services on and off. Our Privacy Policy, as well as many politicians in the industry and includes a very detailed language about the possible scenarios in which we might use customer information, all to the purpose of offering a great user experience. For example, if location services are used, we collect information to give them the relevant local results in Google Maps. We appreciate the confidence of users who give us their information, and do not intend to violate that trust.
Well, that is, of course, that shoots up.
