Motorola CES 2009 booth tour

HelloMoto Indeed, we expect that we will likely have to give Motorola pass, but kinda chuffed really like what they told me is happening. We were totally wowed by stainless Aura and slender, and simply could not keep their hands at it. In addition, the hands were SURFs A3100 and the green and made-from-recycled food W233 Renew with A3100 cooler times of the two proposals. Decent showing by the companies that really need right now, here in the hope of catching more than we are with him on the mobile World Congress next month.

Bolmer talk Windows 7, ZunePhone not in the CES

Microsoft will have a bunch of material to show to the Consumer Electronics Show in January, but rumors ZunePhone will not be one of them, according to sources familiar with the plans of the company.

Instead, the majority of the General Director Steve Ballmer, the focus will be talking about Windows 7 from the consumer point of view. Microsoft pushes Windows 7 have done during the rest of 2009 shopping season, so this means that the CEC is Bolmer best time to advertise its advantages.

While on the desktop operating system will be front and center, said the sources expect Bolmer talk about how Windows is moving to the computer and the world’s computer, Internet and telephone, to abstain, we have also heard a lot from Ray Ozzie in November at professional conferences developers, where the world has also received its first good look at Windows 7.

On the phone front, Microsoft, might not ZunePhone, but it goes forward with a number of other strategies - pressing the phone to the development of phones based on Windows Mobile, Windows Live services to developing phones running various operating systems, as well as the number of new premium mobile services “based on its acquisition of danger.

The company also said the expansion of its Zune service through its own dedicated player and said the phone as a logical place to access the service. You can get more information on the timing of this in the CES, I said. In the October interview with the CIO of Great Britain, Bolmer said the possibility of access to the Zune service on phones Windows Mobile.

Xbox, of course, will receive because of their own, but during Bolmer in the keynote speech and, as is usually the case, we hope, Microsoft announce some new partnerships in the show. Funny videos and celebrity guest, as a rule, safe, and the stakes.

So that’s what I heard, but if tipsters to know more, I am all ears.

CES 2009 Preview: Cell phones and smartphones

As the holidays approach, we see more than the gift shops and spiking eggnog; we think of the CES, which hangs shortly after New Year’s Day. While mobile phones tend to play a supportive role in the CES, I guarantee that we will see several new phones debuting. Of course, Apple has always shuns the event for their Macworld - it runs the same week as CES - but most of the major players will be Sin City. Since most ads are covered by a veil of secrecy before the show, we do not have anything to report to the company only so far. However, if we had a crystal ball, this is what we would like to see:

Touch-screen phone
If there is a trend in 2008, it was touch-screen phone. Including iPhone uberhyped, we saw a lot of touch on the model, especially in the second half of this year. They include smart phones like Samsung Omnia and LG Incite, but also the middle class of phones, as Samsung Eternity behold. We suspect the touch screen is likely to continue into the new year. We will defeat all the major players at CES to see what they have their sleeves, and you never know what might occur.

Camera phones
While camera phones have the back seat to music phones in the last couple of years, they are now back in place. Recently, we have considered three high-end Camera Phones: 5-megapixel Motorola ZN5, Sony Ericsson C902 and the 8-megapixel Samsung Innov8. Only ZN5 landing in the U.S. carrier. It offers integrated Wi-Fi for easy loading of photos. We look forward to even better camera phones in 2009, the CES will be the beginning. And do not worry, music fans, as you’ll see a few new mobile phones, too. Motorola Rokr E8 was born at CES last year, and he won our best of CES award in the category of mobile phones.

Messaging phones
Messages phones took off in a big way at the end of 2008. And when we say reports of phones, we are talking on phones built texting more complicated devices. In fact, we have seen eight such phones this fall, and we do not expect that trend to stop anytime soon. Look for more messages on the phones of CES in various styles.

Smartphones
In a press-T-Mobile G1, RIM BlackBerry Storm, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, as well as other visible devices, 2008 has been a big year for smartphones, so that it could be outdone? Of course. While we do not count on too many new models at CES 2009, we expect to receive some time on their hands with hot Nokia N97, to see if it really worth all the Buzz.

At the front of Android, Sony Ericsson has just announced that he will go to the Google Android smartphone in the summer of 2009. In Las Vegas, we will collect the company’s brain to see what he has in mind. We will also talk with the HTC, which plans to have the entire portfolio of Android devices summer. We also see a change in the platform of Android, including new applications and functions.

Bluetooth Headset
In view of the relatively recent high-profile radical driving laws, we will see even more Bluetooth accessories than ever before. We can see the headset all shapes and sizes, and in-car speakerphones will withdraw too. We also believe, stereo Bluetooth will be standard in most, if not all, of headphones.

The new Palm OS look and the first device in the CEC

It was while with the Palm caused a sensation, but the company, of course, people talked to the planned January 8, the CES event. As CNET News reporter Tom Krazit reported last week, it is expected that Palm will preview its new operating system, code-named Nova, the CES in 2009, and rumors are looking to be true, based on new information from the Business Week article.

According to Peter Burrows at Business Week, Palm will disclose Nova “and the first in a family of products in Las Vegas, but not looking to go after, iPhone or BlackBerry. Instead, the Executive Chairman Jon Rubinstein, Palm said that the purpose behind Nova is to create a flexible platform that supports a wide variety of customer needs and create products that bridge the gap between work-oriented BlackBerrys and fun-oriented iPhone. Prior to joining Palm, Rubinstein was senior vice president of hardware development at Apple.

Rubinstein and Palm leaders will not get much more specific information about product details, not that the team hopes to create phones that make smarter use of data about you. ” In addition, the company hopes to release the product in mid-2009. I will be on January 8, an event, so check if the full report, and my first impressions.

They say: Palm Nova have a smartphone with a touch screen, QWERTY slider design

We are only a couple of days away from the CES 2009, but rumors are already starting to fly about a new smartphone Palm Nova, which is set to debut on 8 January. Referring to the “trusted source”, CrunchGear reported that the first Nova device will have a slider design with a full QWERTY keyboard and a portrait-oriented touch screen. Not surprisingly, that it is compared with the iPhone, and is expected to be transferred to HTC, as the Palm Treo Pro.

In addition, the new operating system was described as “amazing”, with full personal information (PIM) and e-mail support. Smartphone will also come with a ton of software and media playback functions.

Again, this is all hearsay at this point. The official opening is scheduled for Thursday at CES, and I will be at the event that all the details, photos and more, so stay tuned.
