Report: Verizon, Microsoft is working on a ‘pink’ phone

Verizon leaders are convinced it seems busy this week: in addition to the reported discussions with Apple in the next generation of mobile devices, they also said, reportedly for about Microsoft Smartphone.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that Microsoft and Verizon say the beginning of “on-screen multimedia mobile phone to the carrier’s network early next year.” Phone allegedly based on “Pink” software that has been rumors earlier this year, as the combination of Windows Mobile and the Zune software. Microsoft, perhaps, to get someone else (HTC is a firm bid) to the actual phone, but the engineer software and services of the angle.

Running such a Verizon phone will allow the carrier to hedge, if AT & T managed to extend its exclusive deal with Apple, and iPhone. It is not difficult to understand the various leaks surrounding Verizon, AT & T, Apple and Microsoft in recent weeks, as a trial balloon floated in various companies in hopes of improving their negotiating position.

Microsoft and Verizon declined to comment on the report.

Updated 12:40 PM - by representatives of Microsoft decided to throw together a statement after all at the Verizon report. Here it is: “Microsoft strategy has not changed, it has always been to provide software platform for the industry. We work closely with many mobile operators and device authorities around the world, because customers want different experiences on the various (in) Phones.”
