Despite the addition of Microsoft Exchange and App Store with the version 2.0 iPhone to firmware, the device is still far from competing with Windows Mobile when it comes to native editing of several popular file formats. Mobile productivity software company Quickoffice is trying to change that with the new iPhone application that allows users to edit Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet.
Called MobileFiles Pro, is $ 9.99 an application, you can pull in the Excel book any of your computers (over Wi-Fi) or visit the Web-based MobileMe iDisk in the exchange. He supported the change in a few pages in the book, rows and columns, and insert size, and able to do it all with great ease.
To change the cell, just tap it with a finger, and enter a new value. There are also options for the format that is inside it, run the formulas, and add new pages.
The ability to edit files, combines the functionality for other file types, including movies, music, images, documents, Microsoft Word, PDF-files and documents iWork (akin Quickoffice in QuickAccess sister product). Quickoffice said he would continue to issue to edit files of other formats such as Microsoft Word, in future versions.
MobileFiles Pro combines a handful of other applications, iPhone, which allows you to view and edit a spreadsheet, Excel, including spreadsheet, spreadsheet, LX, iSpreadsheet, and the upcoming Mariner Calc app which is due in a few weeks.
