Microsoft mobile search nickname: screen?
Microsoft may have a separate name in mind the new search technology for Windows Mobile phones, according to the registration of the trademark.
PaidContent noted that earlier this year, Microsoft filed for a trademark on the “screen”, describing it as “computer programs for searching e-mails, text messages, (and) the address and contact information. The company uses a single brand, Kumo, to designate the following Windows Live Search, but it might not want to have the same name used to describe a local search on the phone.
It can not come with Windows Mobile 6.5, Microsoft, which is expected to show more detail in May at TechEd 2009. Rather, it is more likely that Microsoft will roll this new search feature with Windows Mobile 7 in 2010, according to PaidContent.
This is perhaps worth noting, however, that the British company doing business in the sieve Sift.com domain.
