Kyocera Wireless and MTS Allstream team up to offer a new cellular phone and wireless data options for customers Manitoba

According to the parties, MTS Allstream will offer Kyocera KPC680 ExpressCard ™ Featuring CDMA2000 ® 1x Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revision A (Rev. A) technology, and Kyocera KR2 mobile router, which receives wireless CDMA and a mobile Device Wi-Fi HotSpot for multiple users.

Kyocera Neo E1100
Striking new Neo E1100 camera flip phone offers the desired combination of the basic functions and design to make a convincing statement of thanks to a brilliant light-blue pipes, that is an integral part of the phone outside of housing. As calls or messages are received, light-pipe “comes to life,” along with “invisible” external OLED-ID the caller display shows that the required information. KPC680 ExpressCard ™ with CDMA2000 ® 1x Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revision A (Rev. A) technology allows MTS Allstream data customers increased speed, mobility, security and performance, simply sliding PC-card into their computer “ExpressCard slot.
KPC680 - which can also be used in standard PCMCIA slots using the included adapter - will allow MTS Allstream customers quick access to e-mail, corporate data, Internet and much more. With the support of MTS Allstream wireless broadband network that works on EV-DO Rev. technology, the new Kyocera KPC680 ExpressCard provides increased productivity and maximum efficiency. According to MTS Allstream, its broadband wireless network provides average download speeds up to 3.1 Mbps network and 1.8 Mbps download, depending on the configuration of the network and signal strength.
KPC680 also features of a breakthrough antenna design that moves the antenna away from the device as it is opened, providing greater sensitivity, and dual external antenna ports for additional flexibility.
KR2 mobile router
The new Kyocera KR2 mobile router takes a single CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rel. 0 or Rev. communication and creates a mobile Wi-Fi hot spots using 802.11b, G and H technology that enables simultaneous connectivity for multiple computers. It also offers four Ethernet LAN port to connect, not Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Along with Fail-over capabilities, KR2 activate the recruitment enhances security by supporting Wi-Fi, protected by installing a regime with the help of dedicated buttons used during the Wi-Fi pairing process. Easy to use Kyocera KR2 mobile router can be installed in a few minutes virtually anywhere and provides high-speed Internet and data access for multiple users. Along with the protection method, the device features VPN-L2TP and encryption for network security.
KR2 mobile router supports PCMCIA, ExpressCard and USB devices for wireless connectivity and features 802.11n (draft 2.0) for longer-range, faster Wi-Fi connections to terminal devices such as laptop computers. Building on the success of an unprecedented Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router, KR2 can also act as conventional routers, avoiding cable or DSL modems to provide Fail-over capacity for EV-DO wired during the interruption in the network.

For consumers who contracted for two years, Mako S4000 is now available free of charge, while the Neo E1100 is available for $ 39.99.
