INQ asserts that the world’s first real social mobility company
The idea of “social networking phone” is redundant at first - don’t all phones are able to connect to social networks for some? But the INQ Mobile, a company based in Britain, argues that this is the first to truly bring the social networks in the form of Facebook, MySpace and others. for those of us who prefer to have regular, affordable phones. INQ argument is that the majority of mobile phones with a separate Facebook application Skype and so far from the smartphone diversity, and thus outside the core. But with the INQ1, as it is called, the social networking applications are now available in a simple and affordable phone.
Indeed, as we played with a sample model on the CES press event yesterday, we can proceed directly to Facebook with a single click with your home screen. Facebook and other such applications as set out in the bottom of the home screen, allowing easy and direct access. INQ1 comes with Facebook, Skype, Yahoo, Google, eBay, and Windows Messenger built in, but because it also supports Java and BREW, you can add other applications such as MySpace. Phone contact list is closely integrated with the applications, which allows the Internet to see all your contacts from your address book. For example, as you scroll down the list of contacts, you can see the person Facebook online status Skype availability, status and chat. And then you can choose whatever you want to contact him or her.
Hardware very decent, but nothing out of ordinary. It is good display and slider form factor. It also has a 3.2-megapikselnuyu camera, and once you take a photo, you can upload it to Facebook, MySpace, or any site you want. INQ1 also a music player, which you can connect to Last.fm directly from the window that lets you listen to your favorite music flows. Of course, it also has stereo Bluetooth, text messaging, and speakerphone.
(Author: Nicole Lee / CNET), you will be prompted to enter your login and password for the first time you use the device, but since you will always be linked. We asked the INQ Abstr security concerns, and he said that the phone line makes you enter your password each time in a while. Nevertheless, the surest way to prevent a breach of security, if the phone was stolen simply change the password on a website.
So the big question: is it affordable? INQ said that currently, the phone will go to 79 pounds, and now mobile phone is only available in the UK and Australia. The company is a search for suppliers of the U.S. at the moment, and hopes to expand its partnerships with other European carriers this year. We are not too sure how it will sell in the U.S., but perhaps its simplicity and ease of use will appeal to some
