Make the time fly faster than the world war for iPhone

If you need something quickly to stimulate your brain while waiting for the bus, it’s just 99 cents iPhone game could do the job so well that you can miss the bus completely.

It is called the world from wars AddictingGames. And no, this is not a game that tests your knowledge of World War I and II (thank God!), A is a game that allows you to capture the whole world in one region simultaneously.

On the world map in the game is divided into many regions, each of which has a certain number of troops, which belong to the seven factions, including yours. You just need a pat on the region under your control, and then one at a location controlled by the enemy to attack. The dice will roll to determine the winner. The number of troops in the region to transfer the amount of bone you have, so that in general, more troops, the better chance you will win. However, there are also some luck in each attack, which makes the result unpredictable. Your task is to make sure that you have won the most rounds of attack, until you take on each region on the map.

I first started playing, I was not very impressed, but thought I would just try it anyway. After several attempts, now become its one of my most frequently used applications. This is a great game to kill a few minutes, and waiting in the queue, or at times when you are on a long flight.

On the other hand, the game comes with a music track on a loop, which, unfortunately, can not be muted separately from the game. In addition, you can play against the computer, rather than any other player. It would do much better if pastime multiplayer support. We hope that this will be added in the next update.

Nevertheless, for just 99 cents, this game offers a lot of fun. But do not take my word for it, try the game for free with a flash version here, before it on your iPhone.

Madden for the iPhone: first glance

Madden NFL can host a game for the most part, but a little cloying company still has a license for a mobile phone based on NFL games, too: Gameloft. We reviewed the 2010 NFL lately, and noted that he could give Madden run for their money in the mobile space.

While Madden for the iPhone and IPod Touch rumored earlier, EA Sports has officially confirmed the game’s release with some screenshots and promise that it will be available “during the opening day, which is September 10. Prospective experience, which 20 years in the business can provide, the press release for Madden on the iPhone and IPod Touch keenly aware that there are competitors already there.

One observation, looking at these screens is that more than a little similarity between the interfaces in this game and NFL 2010. Virtual joystick to the left combined with contextual action buttons on the right will try to accommodate for missing PAD control in much the same as the name of Gameloft’s - but to be fair to Madden, it seems, if it has more action buttons links to offensive snap is shown. The receivers look like they are colored based on how they are open, and it looks like a crane to throw can also be a mechanic here, as in the 2010 NFL.

As for how he plays, we have no idea. It certainly looks more like Madden for the Nintendo DS, as Madden 2010 Xbox 360. Stay with us for the “opening day”, which is a couple weeks of Madden-Ing.

Nintendo: We killed DS lookalike app

In DS DoubleSys iPhone app, and Nintendo DS lookalike (and trainer) that we have been following since it was first presented at Apple in the App Store, has been removed from the store at the request of Nintendo, Nintendo said in an e-mail.

In response to a request to comment, a representative of Nintendo Charlie Scibetta wrote that his company considers necessary to protect its intellectual property.

“Nintendo respects the intellectual property of other companies and, in turn, is counting on the respect of others, and our”, Scibetta wrote by e-mail. “Nintendo has made to seek the abolition of this application, we vigorously defend against the violation of our intellectual property rights.”

But it does not end there. Were also taken down the video application developer, ZM2 Dev, were posted on YouTube about how the DS works DoubleSys approx. In the video space, and YouTube will notice that is displayed as follows: “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim for Nintendo in America.”

ZM2 Dev did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

There is currently no word on whether to issue a similar ZM2 Dev, without violating the will in the near future.

Can NFL 2010 for iPhone topple Madden?

NFL game fans, we feel your pain. Since then, EA locked up video game publishing rights for consoles and PC, Madden was the only game in town - a monopoly on the NFL game, which eliminates the free choice, as some say, eliminates the need for competitive change. We played the new Madden 10, and we, as happened with it. Nevertheless, we are not the days when competitors, such as NFL 2K5 does not actually exist.

But, in fact, doing another, and he made Gameloft. NFL 2010 (APP Store link) hit iPhone last week with relative calm. Not only it is a NFL licensed game, but in full 3D-game with the playbooks and the full league-accurate lists. If you’re wondering how this happened, EA Sports does not own exclusive rights to NFL games mobile. In the mobile arena, competition still exists. Gameloft is currently has a license to make NFL games and, although only on the phones, but not for DS / PSP hardware.

EA is reportedly preparing a iPhone version of Madden, but now, Gameloft title is the only real deal gridiron action at the Apple Store at App. Of course, we were very curious as to how it will play, especially that there is no physical control pad. Read about our experiences, as well as to check the gallery below.
