Apple splits Palm Pre iTunes lovefest

Oh, God. We can not say it was a complete surprise, but it looks like Apple has made good its earlier warning, and put an end to the Palm sync with iTunes pre-release of iTunes 8.2.1.

In the release notes, Apple said that “iTunes 8.2.1 includes several important bug fixes and addresses the problem of verification of Apple devices.” Not wanting to believe the news, we bit the bullet and download the latest version of Apple music software for the PC, and our course, romance is dead.

Just as before, we relate to our smartphone laptop and selected media Sync option our prior, but this time, it does not automatically launch iTunes. Instead, it was only as a storage device, and manually launch iTunes is not a surface pre-or (* tears *).

When asked for comment, Palm responded with the same answer he had Apple released its first warning:

Palm Sync Media works with iTunes 8.2. If Apple chooses to disable the media synchronization in iTunes, it will be a direct blow to their users who will be deprived of a seamless synchronization experience. Nevertheless, people have options. They may stay with the iTunes version, which works to synchronize music to their pre-, they can transfer music via USB, and there are other third-party applications, we can consider.

Obviously, this is not the best news for the training of users, but there are alternative ways to maintain the pre-iTunes-sync live. On the one hand, you can simply not update iTunes 8.2.1, or as an indication PreCentral.net There are other third-party solutions, such as doubleTwist and Missing Sync for training that will enable smartphone sync with iTunes.
